Packing – everything from simple box-end labelling and handline packing of loose product to grading and automated packing in a variety of formats. We offer punneting, netting and flow-wrapping with reliable, high volume packhouse machinery, operated and managed by an experienced team.
The production area contains up-to-date pre-packing and sorting machinery to prepare well-presented products for point of sale. Our skilled, experienced staff can grade and select products according to customer specification.
The production area has capacity to process up to 500 pallets per day. We staff our facility with a mixture of directly-employed staff and temporary labour which provides a flexible resource as and when needed. Our on-site agency labour provider is, of course, fully licensed with the GLA and we follow an extensive audit process to ensure that anyone working at ValeFresh is assured of working conditions that not only meet, but exceed prescribed standards.
We have made a significant investment in automation for our labelling capability. From simple box-end labels to more complex overprinting with variety and date information, we can order, maintain stock and ensure compliance with requirements. Most of our packing lines also allow for online printing.
