The five ripening rooms and one blast chiller at ValeFresh can be used to either enhance or delay the natural ripening process.Our experienced and expert ripening team use these facilities to bring fruit to the desired level of ripeness, whilst allowing for time in transit and retailer shelf-life requirements. The team uses computerised temperature and humidity controls to maintain and closely monitor the correct atmosphere for the produce.
